Consilium Strategic Communications wins Sanofi Genzyme brief

20th January 2016

Consilium Strategic Communications has won a new brief with Sanofi Genzyme, the speciality care business of global healthcare company Sanofi.

Consilium has been appointed as the biotech firm's corporate comms adviser in the UK and Ireland, with Consilium partners Chris Gardner and Amber Fennell to lead the brief, with support from Chris Welsh and Lindsey Neville.

The team will work with Sanofi Genzyme's director of public affairs Henry Featherstone and Stefanie Holman, corporate communications manager, as the client seeks to establish itself further in the specialty care field.

Sanofi Genzyme develops and distributes therapeutic solutions focusing on patients' needs, with diabetes medicines and vaccines among its key product offerings.

Mr Gardner said: "We look forward to working with the company as it builds on its existing reputation in rare diseases and multiple sclerosis and continues to dedicate itself to making a positive impact on the lives of people with serious diseases."
