Source BioScience included in Companies to Inspire Britain list

Source BioScience has been named as one of the country's most inspirational companies in a new report compiled by the London Stock Exchange.

The firm was one of ten Nottingham businesses to be included in the 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain list, having been identified as one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small to medium-sized organisations in the UK.

Overall, the ten Nottingham firms were shown to be growing at an average annual rate of 40 percent, with Source BioScience's revenue tracking ahead of this average, having increased by more than 65 percent over the period covered by the review.

As a result of this growth, the company's operations now span across ten facilities in five countries.

Dr Nick Ash, chief executive of Source BioScience, said: "We are fortunate to be able to access the highest-calibre science and technology graduates, commercial and other staff locally to continually innovate and drive the growth of the business internationally."

The firm achieved a record-breaking financial performance in 2015, with the growth of its laboratory services division and the acquisition of Select Pharma Laboratories cited as key drivers.
