BCF Technology launches new Slate 6 equine X-ray DR system

BCF Technology has announced the launch of its Slate 6 equine X-ray DR system, the latest in its Cuattro product range.

Designed to be smaller, thinner, lighter and faster than previous models, the system incorporates an HD touch screen with a 4K resolution to provide the clearest possible resolution, making it easier than ever to make accurate diagnoses.

It is optimised for equine use in the field and is therefore fully portable and lightweight, coming in at only 2.9 kg. Additionally, it is available with a wireless generator, making the whole process smoother and eliminating the need for any wires around the horse.

BCF account manager Sarah O'Grady said: "The system uses the same popular software as ever, but with some significant improvements, making it even more user-friendly for the vet."

Other key features include the ability to modify presets using six dynamic factors and to archive data to an external USB hard drive.
