Aesop hired as new creative agency partner by Macmillan Cancer Support

2nd March 2016

Aesop has won a new contract with Macmillan Cancer Support following a competitive pitching process.

The firm has been added to Macmillan's roster of creative agency partners after impressing in a pitch organised by Creativebrief in December, giving it the opportunity to work with one of the UK's biggest charities, reports Campaign.

It has not been assigned a specific brief and it remains unconfirmed which areas of the charity's comms programme Aesop will work on. VCCP is currently the lead creative agency on Macmillan's roster, having won a head-to-head pitch against Creature London in 2012.

Kitcatt Nohr is responsible for the charity's fundraising initiatives, PHD handles media planning and buying for Macmillan's brand activity, and John Ayling and Associates organises media activity surrounding the charity's fundraising.

Last year's Macmillan brand campaign centred on a VCCP-created TV ad called Blizzard, which showed a man wandering alone in a snowstorm as a visual representation of the feelings of isolation cancer can cause.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801813884-ADNFCR
