Siemens Healthcare showcases latest radiology innovations

Siemens Healthcare has launched the latest of its innovations in radiology at this year's ECR, the annual congress of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) in Vienna, Austria.

The companies product and solution portfolio supports healthcare providers around the globe to achieve the best patient outcomes in the most efficient way during times of increasing cost pressure, by expanding emphasis on quality measures and time constraints.

Its new dual source computer tomograph Somatom Drive aims to enable more users and patients to benefit from dual source technology, offering precise diagnostics in all areas of radiology.

In addition, Siemens has developed new, innovative systems that allow for faster MRI applications for neurology, providing better diagnostic results.

Together with Bayer Healthcare, Siemens held a dedicated breast care day which focused on early diagnosis of breast cancer, featuring some of the world's expert clinicians.
