Hill and Knowlton appoints new head of healthcare content and publishing
Hill and Knowlton Strategies has announced the appointment of Jessi Langsen to head up the content and publishing approach for its healthcare sector business.
Ms Langsen has joined the agency's London office from Chicago where she led digital and social media campaigns for consumer, corporate, business-to-business and public affairs clients, reports Gorkana.
Prior to joining the company, she helped to manage national social media content for US president Barack Obama's 2012 reelection campaign, during which she established a Twitter and Instagram presence for first lady Michelle Obama.
Jessica Walsh, managing director for healthcare at Hill and Knowlton in London, said: "We are committed to creating modern healthcare campaigns and content that are accessible, health-literate and useful. Making sure we meet the needs of the audience, and publish in the right places in the right format is fundamental to success."
This comes after the agency appointed medcomms veteran Nancy Fitzsimmons as a senior vice-president within its corporate and crisis practice earlier this year.
