Red Door Unlimited names new deputy managing director

Red Door Unlimited has announced the promotion of Andrew Thomas to the role of deputy managing director.

Mr Thomas, who has been with the agency since 2012, can boast extensive healthcare comms experience, having served as European media relations team leader at Pfizer between 2010 and 2012, reports PMLiVE.

He originally joined Pfizer as an associate communications director in 2009 and has also previously held managerial positions at Cohn and Wolfe, Lowe Fusion and Shire Health International. His former role at Red Door was that of international director.

This internal promotion will help to strengthen the Richmond-based healthcare consultancy's senior team as it pursues further growth.

The agency has experience of working with a number of leading healthcare clients, including AstraZeneca, Meda Pharmaceuticals and the World Health Organization.
