Royal Canin announces Healthy Weight Competition winners

Royal Canin has announced the winners of its Healthy Weight Competition, designed to support and reward weight loss in cats and dogs.

Launched across the UK and Ireland last year, the competition recognises the good work pet owners and veterinary nurses put into maintaining a healthy weight for animals, with more than 360 entries received.

Categories included best long-term weight management, best weight loss, best starter, best before/after photo and best journey. The winning dog earned a 1,000 pound holiday voucher for the owners, plus 300 pounds to spend at their practice. The winning vet nurse also received a 1,000 pound holiday voucher.

Following the success of the contest, the company will be running it again for another year, with new entries to be accepted from now until January 31st.
