Pegasus named healthcare PR consultancy of the year

Pegasus has been named as the healthcare PR consultancy of the year for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region by The Holmes Report.

The EMEA SABRE Awards are organised by the publication annually and involve assessing 200 submissions and conducting face-to-face meetings with top-performing PR firms across 20 categories.

In the healthcare division, Pegasus emerged victorious over fellow finalists Firstlight, GCI Health, Havas Just and Virgo Health, after achieving a 39 percent year-over-year growth in fee income during 2015.

The agency was praised for its responsiveness to changing conditions within the healthcare sector, which helped it secure new business with the likes of  Daiichi Sankyo, Denplan, DuPont, Elanco, GR Lanes, LloydsPharmacy and PAGB in the last year.

It also has a positive workplace culture, scaling up its Brighton-based team by 30 percent last year and keeping staff turnover at a low rate of just six percent.

These values will serve the agency well as it enters a new chapter in its development, following its recent acquisition by UDG Healthcare.
