Cellectricon and Neurexpert to jointly promote CNS drug discovery offering

Cellectricon has announced a new collaboration with UK-based research company Neurexpert to provide an enhanced offering in central nervous system (CNS) drug discovery.

Under the terms of the agreement, Cellectricon and Neurexpert will co-promote their combined CNS drug discovery expertise, with a particular focus on synaptic function assays.

These services are designed to help support research into treatments of CNS disorders in the fields of psychiatry, neurology, pain and neurodegeneration. The companies can boast more than 80 years of combined experience in developing electrophysiological assays to test the action of novel compounds on neuronal synaptic function.

Cellectricon's proprietary Cellaxess Elektra Discovery Services screening platform and staff expertise will be complemented by Neurexpert's additional range of complementary cell-based assays.
