Portland Health appoints new associate director

15th June 2016

Portland Health has announced the appointment of Judith Moore as its new associate director.

Ms Moore previously served as the media spokesperson to the public health minister, offering guidance on controversial health issues such as obesity, immunisation, smoking and alcohol, including major national campaigns such as Change4Life and Stoptober, reports Gorkana.

She has also formerly held roles with global PR agencies including Chandler Chicco Agency and Burson-Marsteller, as well as with universities.

Her expertise in the sector, particularly her deep knowledge of the political environment, will be instrumental in helping Portland's clients to navigate an increasingly complex healthcare comms environment.

Dr Jane Brearley, partner and head of health at Portland, said: "Her media knowledge, strategic insights and her ability to create compelling stories will complement our existing client work and add real value across the wider business."

This comes after the agency hired Dr Brendan Murphy as a new director last month to establish and grow its medical education offering.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801820238-ADNFCR
