Pegasus wins communications consultancy of the year prize at Communique Awards

12th July 2016

Pegasus has been selected as the 2016 communications consultancy of the year at the Communique Awards in London.

The agency won the prize for a second time, following up its victory in 2014, after delivering a strong performance in 2015 that saw its workforce grow from 70 to more than 100, while its business expanded by 39 percent.

It has been making efforts to recruit candidates from fields such as advertising, journalism, behaviour change science and nutrition in the last few months, with many of its clients expanding their briefs with Pegasus due to its improved capabilities.

The judging panel said: "Their genuinely integrated offer, built around the strengths of their people and winning combination of style and substance, meant that they really stood out to the judges as a worthy winner."

Pegasus also won the excellence in media relations prize for the brand-associated consumer health category, earning recognition for the Sex Degrees of Separation campaign it ran for LloydsPharmacy.

Launched during Sexual Health Week, the campaign generated more than 20,000 social shares, with around 1,200 people taking up LloydsPharmacy's sexually-transmitted infection assessments as a consequence.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801821668-ADNFCR
