Ivoclar Vivadent launches new e.max Ceram Selection powder range

Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the launch of its new IPS e.max Ceram Selection range of special Enamel and Effect powders.

Offering vibrant colours and exceptional light-optical properties, the powders are used in combination with existing IPS e.max Ceram materials to achieve specific characteristics quickly and easily, as well as providing highly esthetic and lifelike features.

A total of 12 shades are being made available, divided into three groups, with six Special Enamel powders offering an enamel-like translucency, allowing the saturation and chroma of the restoration to be easily adjusted.

Meanwhile, three Light Reflector Effect powders reflect light in specific ways, with three Light Absorber powders absorbing light to reduce the brightness of the restoration.

Ivoclar Vivadent partnered with a team of renowned dental technicians to develop this new range, including Oliver Brix, August Bruguera and Gerald Ubassy.

The company said: "These special coloured powders and the corresponding applications have been developed on the basis of their long-term experience in using IPS e.max Ceram."
