Norbrook Laboratories to launch parasite control event in November
Norbrook Laboratories has announced that it will be hosting a professional development initiative aimed at improving parasite control in Rutland this November.
The Parasite Control Specialist event takes place on November 22nd and 23rd and comes as part of Norbrook's ProCPD training programme. It features lectures and interactive teaching on best practice approaches to parasite management in livestock, horses and pets.
Professionals will be able to benefit from the expertise of key industry figures and opinion leaders through interactive sessions, with delegates encouraged to present to and collaborate with others.
Animal Medicines Training Regulatory Authority points can be accumulated throughout the event, which will focus on topics such as stomach worms, lungworms, liver fluke, lice and mange mites.
Chris Geddes, marketing manager for Norbrook, said: "We believe this event is the first of its kind in the industry, specifically targeting parasites. While it's predominantly aimed at large animal parasites, we will also look at ectoparasites and equine and small animal parasites."
The firm also recently confirmed that it will be showcasing a suite of parasite control solutions – including Eprizero, Spotinor and NoroSeal – at the UK Dairy Day event at Telford's International Centre on September 14th.
