Axon Communications expands global reach with new Swiss office
Axon Communications has announced the launch of a new dedicated operation in Switzerland to support the global and European head offices of its Swiss clients.
Claire Olivia Williams has been appointed as vice-president of this new division, a role that will leverage her experience in developing creative solutions to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, having worked in sales and marketing positions at national, regional and global levels.
She will be based in Zug, a city that is one of the country's pharmaceutical centres, as well as being located close to Basel and Zurich, where many of the leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies are located.
The launch of the Swiss office means the healthcare communications firm's global footprint now extends to five countries – the UK, the US, Canada, Denmark and Switzerland.
Ralph Sutton, international managing partner at Axon Communications, said: "Our goal is to strengthen our presence among Swiss-based companies, and we are confident Claire will help in creating and deepening meaningful connections with people who are important to the success of our business."
Axon has a number of Switzerland-based clients, and it is hoped that the newly-opened office will complement these existing relationships, as well as enhancing its ability to win new contracts in the country.
