Next 15 purchases tech PR agency Pinnacle

27th September 2016

Next 15 has announced the acquisition of the specialist technical content and digital marketing business PMC Investments Limited, also known as Pinnacle.

The 4.4 million pound deal will see Next 15 take control of an agency with customers spanning the electronics, telecoms and engineering sectors, including Toshiba Electronics, Sandvik Coromant and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute.

Simon Flatt, the managing director of Pinnacle who co-founded the agency in 1996, will remain with the business following the acquisition. Following the completion of the takeover, it will be managed as one business alongside Publitek, which was acquired by Next 15 in March.

For the fiscal year ended March 31st 2016, Pinnacle reported net revenues of 2.2 million pounds. The firm is based in the UK but has an international reach, with approximately 25 percent of its revenue coming from US-based clients.

Tim Dyson, chief executive officer of Next 15, said: "Pinnacle extends our deep tech marketing capabilities and will enable us to accelerate our plans to build a similar business in the US."
