Ivoclar Vivadent expands Zenostar MT product range

Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the launch of a new range of pre-shaded Zenostar MT discs in shades of MT 1 to 4.

Designed for the efficient production of zirconium oxide restorations, the new discs are available in thicknesses of 14 mm and 18 mm, and can be used to produce full-contour single crowns and up to three-unit bridges in the anterior and posterior region.

Because shade infiltration and pre-drying is not required, users will save valuable time in the production process. Shade adaptations or individualised characterisations can be achieved by using stains from the IPS Ivocolor range.

Ivoclar Vivadent has optimised the discs for use with the self-curing SpeedCEM Plus resin cement, as this means restorations will not need to be manually conditioned and the application of a primer can be avoided, further increasing efficiency.

The company said: "The shade concept is designed so that restorations in the most popular A to D shades only require one stain and one glaze bake after sintering. The desired tooth shade can therefore be reproduced more easily and efficiently."
