Cision launches new cloud platform for PR and comms industry

Cision has announced the launch of the Cision Communication Cloud Platform, a powerful new tool for comms industry professionals.

The system is designed to help PR and marketing professionals to facilitate real-time decision-making in a unified way across earned, paid and owned channels, bringing together a number of Cision technologies, including Gorkana and PR Newswire products and services.

Users can utilise the cloud platform to listen to media channels for brand mentions, competitive activity and trending topics to inspire new content, as well as to connect to an advanced source of more than 1.6 million media contacts, outlets and editorial opportunities.

The platform leverages the expertise of Cision's team to help deliver high-impact communications, while also facilitating data analysis with customisable charts and a 360-degree view, making it easier to share stories and gauge their impact.

This offering is billed as the first of its kind in the UK and European communications industry.
