Thermo Fisher Scientific launches TSX Series refrigerators and freezers
Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced the launch of its new TSX Series of refrigerators and freezers.
These high-performance devices has been specifically developed to support sustainability objectives by lowering energy usage and reducing noise output levels in blood banking, pharmacy, clinical and scientific applications.
Featuring variable speed compressor technology called V-Drive, these cooling units can facilitate improved performance and provide significant energy savings, ensuring optimal sample protection.
Other benefits of the technology include the fact that it is up to ten times quieter than previous generation models, with sound levels approximating those of a household refrigerator.
Chris Champlin, vice-president and general manager for controlled temperature technologies at Thermo Fisher Scientific, said: "Sample storage demands of laboratory and clinical settings vary considerably depending on the specific applications. That's why our new extended line of refrigerators and freezers feature application-specific models."
The new products continue the environmentally-friendly approach the company previously employed in the design of its range of ULT freezers.
