Carestream Dental’s CS 8100 range surpasses 10,000 sales

Carestream Dental has announced that its CS 8100 range of imaging systems have passed 10,000 worldwide sales.

The milestone was reached in September 2016, underlining the considerable success this family of products has achieved since the introduction of the original CS 8100 in 2012.

Designed to supports the day-to-day panoramic imaging needs of small practices, the system offers segmented panoramic, TMJ and maxillary sinus imaging functions, with its compact form earning six clinical and design awards within the first year of launch.

This launch was followed by the debut of the CS 8100 3D system in 2014, offering the same small footprint and 2D imaging capabilities, but with added 3D imaging and model scanning features.

Last year, the range was expanded again with the CS 8100SC, offering the fastest scanning times of any scanning cephalometric unit on the market, plus advanced imaging software that can recognise anatomical structures and trace them automatically.
