Merck Sharp and Dohme to present new Keytruda data at WCLC 2016

Merck Sharp and Dohme has announced plans to present new clinical data on its drug Keytruda at the forthcoming World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC).

The company will showcase a number of insights into the performance of the anti-PD-1 therapy across multiple thoracic malignancies at WCLC 2016, which will be hosted by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer in Vienna from December 4th to 7th.

This will include data on the drug's performance in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, small cell lung cancer and malignant pleural mesothelioma, building off the proven effectiveness of Keytruda in the treatment of PD-L1 positive non-small cell lung cancer.

To date, the Keytruda clinical development programme has included more than 30 tumour types across over 360 clinical trials, including more than 200 trials that combine Keytruda with other cancer treatments.
