Carestream Dental launches CS Solutions for Implants

Carestream Dental has announced the launch of a new digital integrated implant solution to give doctors more confidence when placing implants.

CS Solutions for Implants aims to facilitate more confident diagnoses, improved treatment planning, better patient/referral communication and overall enhanced outcomes when dental implants are required.

With this new and improved workflow, datasets from a digital impression can be taken by either the CS 3500 or CS 3600 intraoral scanner, with CBCT scans taken using the CS 8100 3D or CS 9300 systems. These two scans can then be automatically aligned to create a virtual setup with the CS 3D Imaging software.

Then, the Prosthetic-Driven Implant Planning module of CS 3D Imaging allows doctors to virtually plan the crown and implant on the same screen, drawing upon a library featuring more than 60 manufacturers.
