Ruder Finn appoints digital and social health leader for US
Ruder Finn has announced the appointment of David Brooks as the new senior vice-president of digital and social health for its US healthcare practice.
Mr Brooks will be based at the agency's offices in New York and can boast 20 years of experience in creating and managing impactful digital and social programmes for pharmaceutical, technology and consumer goods clients worldwide.
He joins the agency from Ogilvy Public Relations, where he served as senior vice-president for digital and social strategy, supporting client companies such as Pfizer, Ambry Genetics, Biotheranostics and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Prior to Ogilvy, he worked for Burson-Marsteller.
In his new role at Ruder Finn, Mr Brooks will take responsibility for developing digital, social and content strategies in healthcare, building on the success of the agency's current offerings in medical technology, while expanding its capabilities in biotechnology and life sciences.
Sally Ann Barton, head of Ruder Finn's US healthcare practice, said: "David has an amazing ability to stay ahead of tech trends and to develop – and inspire others to develop – programmes that bring emotion, technology and learning together in a way that create truly compelling results."
