Ashfield Clinical appoints new head of clinical services

Ashfield Clinical has announced the appointment of Nagore Fernandez as its new head of clinical services in Europe.

Ms Fernandez is a clinical pharmacist with a masters degree in clinical research. She joins the agency from Walgreens Boots Alliance, where she led the development of strategy and the execution of clinical operations.

Ashfield Clinical offers services across a number of European countries – including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey and Portugal – and has plans for further expansion, which Ms Fernandez's appointment will support.

Nigel Mansford, head of Europe and Canada for Ashfield's clinical and commercial businesses, said: "Nagore will provide expert and dedicated leadership to accelerate the development of our clinical service capability, expand our number of markets and ensure continued quality of the highest standard."

The company offers more than 15 years of experience of providing patient support programmes and clinical services including patient adherence, multichannel engagement, educational content and tailored care plans.
