Ceva donates products to support Worldwide Veterinary Service

1st June 2017

Ceva Animal Health has provided a donation of various products to help the Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) support animal health projects globally.

The company has offered products including dog and cat wormers, skin and joint supplements and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs to WVS, which has distributed them across 60 animal welfare charities around the world.

For example, more than 1,000 Milbactor worming tablets were provided to the Liberia Animal Welfare and Conservation Society to provide free veterinary care and treatment to 420 dogs in the country.

Additionally, the WVS is using some of the donated products at its own centres and shelters in Thailand, including its Care for Dogs shelter in Chiang Mai.

Cuneyt Seckin, managing director at Ceva Animal Health, said: "Our donation to WVS helps charities and organisations whose veterinary resources can be scarce or extremely difficult to fund improve the welfare conditions of animals that are often kept in horrendous conditions."

The WVS is dedicated to helping animal health charities worldwide make a difference through the provision of veterinary supplies and equipment.
