Public Health England seeks new agency partner

24th August 2017

Public Health England is potentially seeking a new agency partner as part of a routine reappraisal of its current comms relationships.

Agencies on the government's Campaign Solutions roster will take part in a competitive pitching process that will open up the possibility of new agencies being brought on board, with pitches to take place in late September, reports PRWeek.

Public Health England is obliged to regularly reappraise its agency relationships due to its status as a government body. The 27 agencies on the Campaigns Solutions roster were asked to provide proposals for the brief by August 21st as part of this process.

It means that Freud Communications will have to enter into competition with other agencies to retain its long-held comms brief with Public Health England, which has been in place since Public Health England was formed in 2013.

Firms such as Grayling, Freshwater, Kindred, and Munro and Forster – as well as the Ogilvy and Mather, Havas, Engine and M&C Saatchi networks – are all expected to take part in this process.

Any new agency partners will have a chance to work with Public Health England on leading campaigns such as Stoptober, Change4Life and Smokefree.
