Biotronik to present new clinical data at 2017 ESC Congress

Biotronik has announced that it will be presenting new clinical data at the 2017 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress in Barcelona.

Running from August 26th to 30th, the conference will see the company sharing its latest advances in the treatment of atrial fibrillation in heart failure patients, as well as data evaluating patient responses to cardiac resynchronisation therapy and findings on the safety and efficacy of drug-eluting stents.

Findings from the CASTLE-AF will be shared that compare catheter ablation to pharmacological therapy among patients with coexisting heart failure and atrial fibrillation, as well as data from BIOFLOW-V, a trial comparing the Orsiro and Xience stents.

Additionally, a subgroup analysis from the EchoCRT trial will be discussed to offer insights into how response rates for cardiac resynchronisation therapy can be tracked.
