Horiba Scientific launches new CLUE microscope detector tools

Horiba Scientific has announced the launch of four new CLUE detectors, further expanding a range of detection tools that are already in use by laboratories worldwide.

Designed for use with scanning electron microscopes (SEMs) and dual SEM/focused ion beam (FIB) microscopes, the CLUE (cathodoluminescence universal extension) detectors can be used in materials science, mineralogy, geology, life sciences and forensics applications.

The latest additions include the new I-CLUE fast cathodoluminescence (CL) imaging system, which offers a large field-of-view ellipsoidal collection mirror, and the ultra-compact F-CLUE imaging and hyperspectral CL solution.

Meanwhile, the H-CLUE imaging and hyperspectral CL tool features the best performance on the market by combining several functions into one, while R-CLUE brings CL, Raman spectroscopy and photoluminescence capabilities together in a single solution.

Each new detector comes with on-site installation and training, technical support, and application support.
