Siemens Healthineers to be listed on Frankfurt Stock Exchange

1st December 2017

Siemens Healthineers is to be listed on the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange's regulated market during the first half of 2018.

This move has been approved by the supervisory board of the broader Siemens business, and will involve the establishment of Siemens Healthineers AG as an autonomous legal entity.

Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs International and JP Morgan have been engaged as global coordinators for this move, with BNP Paribas, BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup and UBS Investment Bank also involved as syndicate banks.

The listing is expected to provide Siemens Healthineers with greater entrepreneurial flexibility and access to the capital market, supporting its ambitious growth plans.

Selecting Frankfurt as a trading venue will also be advantageous due to the location's international attractiveness to investors and its status as one of the world's largest trading centres for securities, which will only be enhanced after Brexit.

Michael Sen, chairman of the Siemens Healthineers supervisory board, said: "For Siemens Healthineers, the public listing is the next logical step and the foundation for expanding our strong position as a leading global supplier of healthcare technology."
