Edgewell Personal Care confirms departure of chief financial officer

13th December 2017

Edgewell Personal Care has announced that its chief financial officer (CFO) Sandy Sheldon will be leaving the company next month.

Ms Sheldon will remain with the company until the end of January 2018 to assist with the transition process, with an executive search firm having been hired to assist the process of identifying a permanent successor.

Elizabeth Dreyer, Edgewell's vice-president, controller and chief accounting officer, will take up the CFO role on an interim basis with immediate effect, and will also support the overall transitional process.

The company's leadership acknowledged the significant role that Ms Sheldon has played in building a strong foundation during its transition from a division of Energizer into a standalone company since 2015.

David Hatfield, Edgewell's chief executive officer, president and chairman of the board, said: "We remain focused on executing our strategic priorities during this period of rapid change and transformation for our company and our industry."
