Platform Communications hired by video technology firm Bitmovin

Platform Communications has been handed a new contract by Bitmovin, a leading provider of online video technology software.

As Bitmovin's global agency partner, Platform Communications will deliver a campaign including content creation, media relations, event support and analyst/influencer relations, spanning the US, EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific markets.

Bitmovin provides software that enables TV streaming providers and media publishers to minimise bandwidth while delivering high-quality video content over the internet. Its customers include the New York Times, Sling TV, Periscope, fuboTV and Red Bull Media House.

This appointment follows a competitive pitching process, with director David Lawrence to lead the account.
