Nominees revealed for Ceva Animal Welfare Awards 2018

Ceva Animal Health has announced its shortlist of nominees for this year's Ceva Animal Welfare Awards.

Now in its eighth year, the awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of remarkable individuals from the farming, veterinary and charity industries.

A total of six categories are up for grabs this year, including the Chris Laurence Vet of the Year Award, Vet Nurse of the Year, Charity Team of the Year, Charitable Contribution of the Year, the Farm Animal Welfare Award and the International Cat Care Welfare Award.

Cuneyt Seckin, managing director of Ceva Animal Health, commented: "Year-on-year we are amazed and humbled by the individuals and organisations who dedicate their lives to enhance and improve animal welfare both in the UK and abroad."

Winners will be announced at a gala ceremony in Birmingham that is to be held on April 4th as part this year's BSAVA Congress.
