Noramco Unveils Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Solutions Provider, Normaco Group

Noramco, a producer of active pharmaceutical ingredients, has unveiled the introduction of Noramco Group, a supplier of pharmaceutical supply chain services in North America. 

It combines the resources of two Noramco divisions: Halo Pharma, a contract development and manufacturing firm for pharmaceuticals, and Purisys, a global leader in custom synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients. 

This strategic decision targets the rising issues of drug shortages and quality control in the United States, aiming to enhance supply chain efficiency and boost domestic manufacturing. 

The collaboration between Noramco, Purisys, and Halo Pharma is anticipated to streamline operational procedures within the industry, decrease logistic expenses, and elevate adherence to regulatory standards. 

Lee Karras, the head executive at Noramco Group, stated, “The formation of the Noramco Group is our proactive solution to some of these challenges.” 

Karras went on to add, “By leveraging our advanced manufacturing capabilities, stringent quality control and compliance measures, and timely delivery, we aim to mitigate the risks associated with drug shortages and ensure a stable and reliable supply of vital APIs and drug products.”
