Many of the top performers I’ve placed started with degrees in biology, chemistry, or biomedical science, but what makes them stand out is how they use that knowledge to have meaningful, confident conversations with customers.

It’s also important to be comfortable with digital tools. CRMs, online demos, and virtual client meetings are part of everyday work now. And having commercial awareness, understanding the client’s world and positioning your product as a solution, will always be essential.
