Provita Announces Sales Alliance with Norbrook

Provita Animal Health has announced a strategic sales alliance with Norbrook Ltd covering Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Announced on 13 May 2026, the partnership is designed to strengthen the supply chain and expand on-farm technical support across the GB market, while Provita’s portfolio remains available through existing local merchants and veterinary channels. The deal aligns one of the UK’s leading natural animal health specialists with a veterinary pharmaceutical heavyweight.

Provita, based in County Tyrone, manufactures natural animal health products including nutraceuticals, probiotics, colostrum and supportive therapies for commercial livestock, equine and companion animals. Its portfolio includes Provita Protect, Hoofsure Endurance, Response Paste, Jump Start, Promist and the recently launched Advance Eco silage inoculant. Under the new arrangement, Norbrook’s livestock sales team will provide additional commercial coverage across England, Scotland and Wales, alongside Northern Ireland.

Provita CEO Michael Kerr said the relationship is aimed at strengthening the supply chain and putting more boots on the ground, with Norbrook’s sales infrastructure enabling enhanced farmer support and technical advice. Norbrook livestock national business manager Dan Griffiths said Provita’s reputation for innovation in natural health solutions complements Norbrook’s existing product range, allowing the two companies to combine clinical excellence with nutritional innovation under a single approach to animal health. Provita confirmed that its products will continue to be available through usual local merchants and veterinary practices, meaning the alliance adds reach rather than restructuring distribution.

The alliance reflects the wider trend of antimicrobial reduction pressure pushing livestock producers toward natural and preventative health solutions, where Provita is established. Pairing that proposition with Norbrook’s veterinary pharmaceutical scale and field presence in GB gives Provita a credible route to grow share beyond its Northern Irish base, and is the more interesting commercial signal here.
