CardiAI and Carlton University’s Engineering Faculty Collaborate to Develop Healthcare Diagnostics

CardiAI and Engineering and Design specialists at Carlton University have revealed a collaboration to develop healthcare diagnostics for faster clinical test results. 

The partnership looks to develop the EG-FET (Electrolyte-Gated Field-Effect Transistor) biosensor system, aiming to be utilised for the identification of crucial biomarkers. 

This system’s expected outcomes include providing exceptionally precise test results, thereby enhancing medical diagnostics precision. 

Dr Ravi Prakash, commented, expert on Electronics in the Carlton Department, stated, “Our department is excited to contribute to the development of cutting-edge biosensor technology that has the potential to redefine point-of-care diagnostics.” 

Dr Prakasg went on to add, “By combining our research strengths, we aim to make a lasting impact on healthcare accessibility and usher in a new era of medical innovation.”
