Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
You will be responsible for end-to-end HPLC service support including installations, training, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, validation, and SAP reporting, working within an experienced team while managing parts inventory, maintaining company assets, and covering the Midlands and Southeast with occasional UK-wide and overseas travel.

Role Requirements
To have a proficient knowledge of all the HPLC products with emphasis on the relevant service schedules available for customers.
Work as part of an experienced team offering first class customer support.
Perform Installations of new instrumentation, followed by customer training.
Preventative Maintenance visits usually on an annual basis.
Conduction breakdowns / troubleshooting with 48 Hour Response times.
Validation of instrumentation, IQOQ / PQ Testing.
Reporting of all service jobs using SAP in a timely manner.
Maintaining accurate inventory of spare parts in car stock.
Covering the Midlands/Southeastern England mainly and prepared to travel to all parts of the UK on occasions.
Occasional travel overseas – usually for training in Germany.
To ensure all company assets that are provided to carry out the job are maintained in an appropriate and business-like condition e.g. company car; laptop and phone.
Any other appropriate and reasonable task that may be required from time to time upon request of the company.
Person Specifications
Located in Milton Keynes or Cambridgeshire.
Experience in HPLC / LCMS.
Experience with other Analytical Instrumentation if no HPLC or LCMS experience.
Background of maintenance and troubleshooting skills in previous positions.
Worked as an engineer or come from an analytical background carrying out on site support.
Experience working in GLP/GMP environment.
Be prepared to travel and stay away as required.
Package
Salary up to £43,000 D.O.E.
Bonus Scheme (£6.5k).
