Service Business Development Specialist
Role Overview
You will drive UK service agreement growth by securing new and renewal contracts across a large installed base, working closely with service, product, and capital sales teams to deliver tailored solutions in a technically advanced environment.

Role Requirements
Sell and renew service agreements across an installed base of analytical instrumentation.
Manage and develop high-value service contracts.
Re-engage lapsed customers and convert non-contract customers.
Identify new service opportunities within existing accounts.
Build strong, consultative customer relationships across multiple industry sectors.
Maintain a structured sales pipeline and accurate CRM activity.
Represent the business professionally at customer meetings and events.
Person Specifications
This role would suit candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including:
Service sales within analytical instrumentation.
Capital equipment sales with a strong service focus.
Field Service Engineers or Technical Support professionals seeking a move into sales.
You’ll ideally have:
Experience working with analytical laboratory equipment (e.g. HPLC, LCMS, GC, GCMS, FTIR, UV, TOC)
An understanding of service agreements and laboratory environments (GLP/GMP beneficial).
A consultative sales approach and strong relationship-building skills.
The ability to work independently within a UK-wide territory.
