A-dec launches new line

A-dec has announced it has released a new treatment room equipment line which it has named Decade Plus.

The first Decade Plus offer is a streamlined dental chair which is fitted with seamless upholstery. It has a thin backrest which it claims allows the operator to move their hands into the best operating position without disturbing the patient’s comfort.

Greg Watson, A-dec product manager, said the new product supplies a niche.

“[It is] an economical chair with exceptional comfort and access. Full-featured, value-priced delivery systems or more basic systems with build-up features,” he added.

A-dec is one of the biggest dental equipment manufacturers on the planet and operates in more than 100 countries.

Last month, the manufacturer announced it had designed a new collection of cabinets as part of its Preference ICC range which offers dentists improved efficiency and dedicated space for sterilizers.

The new designs included the C2S2 Clean Storage Module, the CST1.12 Full-height Storage Module and the CST1.25 Full-height Storage Module.
