AAH Pharmaceuticals selects commercial director

AAH Pharmaceuticals has announced the appointment of Nigel Draper as its commercial director, following an extensive career at several high-profile British companies.

Mr Draper assumed his new position as of the beginning of this year after accruing experience in procurement and supply chain management roles for businesses such as Whitbread, Barclays and Associated British Foods.

In his capacity as commercial director, he will take responsibility for the firm’s procurement and pricing of generics, PIs and OTCs.

Mark James, group managing director for AAH Pharmaceuticals Ltd, expressed delight at Mr Draper’s appointment to the role.

He said: “He brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge which will help ensure AAH continues to offer its customers a wide range of products at competitive prices.”

The company, which operates 19 warehouses across the UK, is the largest pharmaceutical distributor in the country, making 5.2 million deliveries on an annual basis.
