Advanced Medical Solutions appoints new management staff

Advanced Medical Solutions has strengthened the leadership of its operations with the appointment of Clare Holden and Steve Platt to management roles.

Mr Platt, who has previously been employed by companies such as Toyota Manufacturing and JCB Transmissions, has become the general manager of the firm’s new manufacturing facility in Winsford.

Meanwhile, Ms Holden has been hired as vice-president of research and development, a role which will see her carry over expertise accrued with leading medical technology firms such as Siemens and Smith and Nephew.

Chris Meredith, chief operating officer of Advanced Medical Solutions, said appointments such as these will help to improve the “experience and enthusiasm” of the company’s leadership.

He added: “We are delighted to announce these latest additions to our senior management team, strengthening our research and development and general operational functions.”

In June 2010, the company held its annual general meeting, expressing confidence in its full-year 2010 performance based on the success of products such as ActivHeal.
