Agilent Technologies to offer new data analysis software with The MathsWorks
Agilent Technologies and The MathsWorks have announced new data analysis software is now available with Agilent’s 5000, 6000, 7000 and 90000 Series oscilloscopes.
The Matlab product, when used with the oscilloscopes, allows engineers to filter, visualise and analyse signals more quickly and easily, according to a statement.
Scott Sample, vice-president and general manager of Agilent’s oscilloscope sector, said Matlab is used by many of the company’s customers who consider it "extremely important".
"This agreement provides them with the convenience of purchasing a complete hardware and software solution from Agilent – and gives them more time to focus on the creation of high-quality designs," he added.
People in science sales jobs may be able to take advantage of purchase options on the products. An introductory software bundle, which allows researchers to configure and control of Agilent Technologies’ instruments and carry out basic visualisation and signal tasks, is provided by the Agilent Option 061 Matlab basic oscilloscope package.
The Agilent Option 062 Matlab standard oscilloscope package enables the analysis of signal processing and the filter of signals.
Agilent Technologies is a spin-off company from Hewlett-Packard.
