Align Technology launches Invisalign Express 5

Align Technology has expanded its flagship Invisalign product range with the addition of a new option for minor crowding, spacing or orthodontic relapse treatments.

Invisalign Express 5 is a cost-effective solution for patients requiring five or fewer stages of Invisalign aligners, who would otherwise be reluctant to opt for treatment due to pricing issues.

A shorter-duration alternative to Invisalign Express 10, it retains the same high-end features of other Invisalign products, including its ClinCheck 3D treatment plan, SmartForce attachments and aligner features, and one-time refinement option.

Timothy Mack, Align's senior vice-president for business development, said the new product is ideal for patients affected by very minor crowding or malocclusions that they wish to correct.

"Invisalign Express 5 gives doctors a new option for these patients – one with all the benefits of Invisalign and straighter teeth at a price consistent with minor fixes," he added.

This comes in the same week the company made its Invisalign range available in Russia and the Middle East for the first time.
