Anachem launch new Gilson diode array detectors
Anachem has launched the new Gilson 171 and 172 Diode Array Detectors (DAD) specifically developed to enhance detection solutions to a greater level.
The company claims that photo diode array detectors are increasing in popularity as they ensure the correct fractions of interest can always be captured and collected.
It added that they are an "industry necessity" in applications such as analytical and preparative HPLC.
The new 171/172 DAD detectors are compatible with the new Trilution LC V2.0 system control software.
Anachem added that these "intuitive instruments" are created using fibre optic cables which generate the option to include a remote flow cell that can be positioned up to one metre from the detector.
The enables a direct coupling of the column output to the flow cell, producing fast and well defined sharp peaks.
Anachem is a specialist distributor of instrumentation to the life sciences market.
It is Gilson’s authorised distributor and offers a range of chromatography and automated liquid handling products.
