Anachem launches new Gilson analytical liquid handler

Anachem has launched the new Gilson GX-281 Analytical Liquid Handler- designed for lower volume liquid handling and injection applications.

According to Anachem, the exclusive distributor of Gilson products in the UK, the new liquid handler incorporates Gilson’s "revolutionary" GX Analytical Solvent System which can produce an injection volume range as low as two µl up to one ml.

It is also able to accommodate flow rates from one µ per minute to 5 µ per minute.

"The GX-281 Analytical Liquid Handler can also be purchased with the option of a barcode reader, a benefit for users wishing to automatically identify and track their samples," the company continued.

Meanwhile, Anachem has also introduced Gilson’s latest rack additions for use with its GX-271 Liquid Handler.

The Code 12X series of racks are located on the instrument bed, towards the back, where the solvent reservoirs are usually located.

Both the code 121 and 122 racks are able to accommodate vessels of adequate sample capacity "without consuming precious space for rack positioning".

According to Anachem, this allows space for five fraction collection racks.
