Applied Biosystems to webcast presentation

Applied Biosystems, an Applera Corporation business, has announced plans to webcast its presentation at the 26th annual JP Morgan Healthcare Conference.

The company’s newly appointed president and chief operating officer, Mark Stevenson, will speak at the event, outlining Applied Biosystems’ business and focusing upon its strategy for growth.

The three-day conference will be held at the Westin St Francis in San Franciso, California and begins on Monday January 7th.

Mr Stevenson will make his presentation at 10.30 am on the first day.

Applied Biosystems develops and markets instrument-based systems, consumables, software and services for use within the life science industry and research community.

Customers use these products to analyse nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), small molecules, and proteins to make scientific discoveries and develop new pharmaceuticals.

Other companies presenting at the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference include Gilead Sciences, Aetna and Mindray.
