Aspectus PR appoints financial services tech specialist

Aspectus PR has announced the appointment of the award-winning financial services technology specialist Tim Focas to a new role.

Mr Focas joins the company after two-and-a-half successful years with Weber Shandwick, where he worked as a day-to-day contact to some of the firm's London technology practice's largest clients.

He won a 2012 SABRE Award for best digital media placement and brings with him a strong understanding of the financial technology sector.

In his new role, he will report directly to Katy Galasinski, head of financial services at Aspectus PR.

Alastair Turner, global group director of Aspectus PR, said: "He brings a wealth of experience in managing international clients, as well as a reputation for developing and executing highly innovative financial services campaigns that lead to top-tier results."

This comes after the firm appointed the experienced communications consultant James Reynolds as an account manager for its fast-growing financial services PR practice earlier this month.
