Bayer HealthCare to present data at European Cancer Congress
Bayer HealthCare has announced plans to showcase the latest developments from its oncology portfolio at the European Cancer Congress in Amsterdam.
The company will attend the event from September 28th to October 1st 2013 to present clinical data supporting the safety and efficacy of products such as Nexavar, Stivarga and radium 223 dichloride (Ra 223).
This will include an oral presentation of a subanalysis from a phase III trial of Nexavar in patients with radioactive iodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer, plus a presentation and posters on Stivarga following its recent European regulatory approval.
Bayer will also share data from Alsympca, a study of Ra 223 that helped to support its recent US approval.
Dr Kemal Malik, member of the Bayer HealthCare executive committee and head of global development, said: "With our continued commitment to advancing innovative treatments that improve patients' lives, Bayer is expanding its focus and leadership in the oncology space."
This comes after the company showcased data at the European Society of Cardiology congress earlier this month.
