BCF Technology offers support for BMUS meeting

16th November 2011

BCF Technology has provided sponsorship for the recent meeting of the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS) in Brighton.

The animal health company was one of the supporters of the veterinary day of the 43rd scientific meeting at the conference last month, expressing hope that the event continues to gain in popularity over the years.

During the event a number of practical cardiac and abdominal ultrasound scanning sessions took place, with a mixture of vets and medical ultrasonographers among those participating.

It also included talks from experts such as Dr Frances Barr and Petra Agthe of Anderson Moores Referrals Winchester, with topics ranging from abdominal health to lameness in dogs.

Peter Higginson of BCF Technology said: "This meeting allows veterinary surgeons and medical ultrasonographers to mix and learn from each other, comparing ultrasonographic techniques used in each other's disciplines."

Last month also saw BCF lend support for the British Equine Veterinary Association's equine ophthalmology core skills workshop in Gloucestershire.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801213144-ADNFCR
