BCF Technology wins praise for GE Vivid E9 device

BCF Technology has earned positive customer feedback for GE Vivid E9, designed as the leading 4D cardiovascular ultrasound system for referral hospitals.

North Downs Specialist Referrals (NDSR) has become the first small animal practice in the UK to invest in the device in order to ensure it can offer the best possible image quality for its cardiology caseload, reports VetClick.

Offering outstanding spectral, colour and tissue Doppler quality imaging, the system is helping the animal health provider to carry out advanced procedures and provide a consistently high level of patient care.

NDSR has also purchased a transesophageal probe from BCF Technology in order to be able to scan patients while they are undergoing interventional cardiac surgery.

Simon Dennis, a veterinary specialist at NDSR, said: "The Vivid E9 really enhances our ability to diagnose our patients; the image quality is far superior to anything that we've used and that is out there."

This comes after BCF last month announced the launch of its new Easi-Scan Smart Display, a user-friendly interface add-on for the Easi-Scan bovine ultrasound scanner.
